Psychologist C. E. Jung theorized that a person’s personality could fit into one of 16 personalities. These personalities are based on extroversion/introversion, intuition/sense, thinking/feeling, and perception/judgment. Let’s take a closer look at some of these personality types, shall we? They fall into four different categories: the analysts, the diplomats, the sentinels, and the explorers. If you’re an analyst, you tend to be imaginative and strategic, innovative with a thirst for knowledge, and eternally curious. If you fall into the diplomat category, you’re usually quiet and mystical, poetic and altruistic, charismatic, and oh-so creative. And what about the sentinels? These folks are typically practical and fact-minded, dedicated and warm, caring and social, and good at managing others. Lastly, the explorers total wild-cards. They’re often flexible and charming, smart and energetic, spontaneous, and extremely enthusiastic.
So you’ve been grouped into one of these four categories, but this test goes even further than that. Each of the four personality groups has four separate types that are more specific and include details about your personality that are unique to you. The analysts include the architects, the logicians, the commanders, and the debaters. The diplomats include the advocates, the mediators, the protagonists, and the campaigners. The sentinels include the logisticians, the defenders, the executives, and the consuls. The explorers include the virtuosos, the adventurers, the entrepreneurs, and the entertainers.
So where will you fall on the personality spectrum? And what is your perfect career path based on your personality? This quiz will ask you a series of questions about yourself ranging from how you feel about big, wild parties to how ambitious you are at work to whether or not you’re willing to step over others to get what you want. It’s important to be as honest as possible when answering these questions since it won’t be accurate if you’re just responding with how you wish you were as opposed to your actual self.
